Kizomba is one of the most popular genres of dance and music origination from Angola and is a mix of traditional Angolan Semba and Zouk, or compass music, from the French Caribbean sung typically in Portuguese. Many consider Kizomba to be a very romantic dance but there are many ways for dancers to express themselves as there are so much musical variation within the genre. Kizomba is immensely popular in Europe and is becoming more and more popular in the United States.
